Volleyball Recap: Champions Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Champions Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-7.

Champions Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Champions Christian Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Florida College Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Families Instructing Students HomeSchool will square off against rival Excel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
