Volleyball Recap: Jackson-Olin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jackson-Olin extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They lost 3-0 to the Homewood Patriots. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Homewood, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Homewood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamryn Coleman, who had nine aces and two assists. That's the most aces Coleman has posted over her last nine matches. Another player making a difference was Mollie Brown, who had nine assists and five aces.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson-Olin will welcome Minor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Homewood, they will host Hoover at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
