Soccer Recap: Helena Comes Up Short

If Helena was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Gardendale last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Helena Huskies came up short against the Thompson Warriors on Monday, falling 6-3. The Huskies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Kate Hendrix and Henley Havens scored all three of Helena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Helena now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thompson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Helena has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against Chilton County on the 25th. As for Thompson, they will take on Hewitt-Trussville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
