Volleyball Recap: Filer Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Filer managed to slip by Kimberly the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Wednesday. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Filer ultimately came up short, they really made Kimberly work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14, 28-26.

When it comes to explaining why Filer lost, don't look at Ruthie Bullock. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and 13 assists. Bullock is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Lilyann Curtis also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Filer's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-11. As for Kimberly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Filer nor Kimberly have any future games scheduled.
