Football Game Preview: West Nassau Warriors vs. Keystone Heights Indians + How To Watch

The West Nassau Warriors will face off against the Keystone Heights Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in West Nassau's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Keystone Heights has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

West Nassau will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against Fernandina Beach on Friday. The Warriors came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 32-21.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Nassau to victory, but perhaps none more so than Smo Green, who rushed for 185 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Those 185 rushing yards gave Green a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Andi Ataiza, who rushed for 138 yards and two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Nassau was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 437 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fernandina Beach only rushed for 78.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Keystone Heights' offense. They were outmatched by Bradford and fell 53-0. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 512th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 40th).

Keystone Heights' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Nassau, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything came up roses for West Nassau against Keystone Heights in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-10 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
