After both having extra time off, The Meadows School Mustangs and the Moapa Valley Pirates will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, The Meadows School made easy work of Cristo Rey St. Viator and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant The Meadows School was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-13, 25-4.

The Meadows School's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Adyson Watkins, who had seven digs and two aces, and Piper Kennedy, who hit 60% for six kills and 12 digs, three aces, and one block. That's the most aces Watkins has posted over her last three matchups.
Meanwhile, Moapa Valley beat Boulder City 3-1 on Monday.
Moapa Valley was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-11, 25-18.
Moapa Valley had a senior duo take command as Chloe Dalley had 21 digs and seven aces and Clari Frei had 15 digs.
The Meadows School's record now sits at 14-5. As for Moapa Valley, their record is now 8-18.
Everything went The Meadows School's way against Moapa Valley when the teams last played back in August, as The Meadows School made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
