Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Daniella Demarco and Samantha Seymour Lead John Jay to Victory

It's playoff time, and John Jay had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the North Rockland Raiders 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

John Jay was led to victory by Samantha Seymour and Daniella Demarco. Seymour had 12 digs and three assists, while Demarco had four digs and four aces. That's the most digs Seymour has posted since back in October.

They weren't the only good servers: John Jay was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in five consecutive contests.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 27-6-3. As for North Rockland, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-6.

As of now, neither John Jay nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
