Basketball Game Preview: Eureka Vandals vs. North Valleys Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Eureka Vandals will head out on the road to face off against the North Valleys Panthers at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eureka comes in on nine and North Valleys on four.

North Valleys better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Eureka really get things going. Eureka was the clear victor by a 49-28 margin over Hug on Friday. The Vandals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Valleys faced Churchill County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. North Valleys came out on top against Churchill County by a score of 48-41.

Eureka's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.2 points. As for North Valleys, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
