It's playoff time, and Russell Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder to the tune of 74-28 on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Bo Morphis, who rushed for 150 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 79 yards and one touchdown. Those 150 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Simmons, who rushed for 113 yards on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Russell Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 391 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was Russell Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Simmons and Jace Wood, who racked up all five sacks between them.

The win was the eighth in a row for Russell Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 10-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

As of now, neither Russell Christian Academy nor the Thunder have any future games scheduled.
