Volleyball Recap: Jackson Day Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Jackson Day was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Carolina International on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mariners fell just short of the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Jackson Day took Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 15-11.

The defeat snapped Jackson Day's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-6 record. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.
