Soccer Recap: River Ridge Takes a Loss

River Ridge was the 1-0 winner over Creekview when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The River Ridge Knights fell just short of the Creekview Grizzlies by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. River Ridge fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Grizzlies since on Tuesday.

River Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Creekview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will square off against Lassiter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lassiter will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something River Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Creekview, they will head out on the road to face off against Sequoyah at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Sequoyah: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Creekview has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
