Baseball Recap: Westfield's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Westfield lost against Centreville on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 6-2 to the Wildcats.

Westfield saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kase Cochran, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Westfield's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-10. As for Centreville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Westfield is set to challenge their familiar foe Oakton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Centreville will take on rival James Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.9, the Warhawks 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
