Basketball Recap: Firth Starts Season with Victory Against American Falls + How To Watch

Firth had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 55-28 win over the American Falls Beavers. With the Cougars ahead 31-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Firth's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Georgianna Jolley, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Daisha Sorensen, who put up 11 points.

American Falls is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Firth will face off against South Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for American Falls, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Declo at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
