Basketball Recap: Idea Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Idea suffered their biggest loss since January 25th on Wednesday. They had to suffer through an 83-46 loss at the hands of the Roosevelt Roughriders. The Timberwolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-33.

Idea lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaidyn Lewis, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Hall, who scored four points and eight rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sean Hall, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 20 points and seven boards. Hall is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Elijah Hall was another key player, going 7-for-8 to rack up 19 points.

Idea now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Idea and Washington Leadership Academy will face off at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. The matchup will give the Timberwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Douglass in a tournament on Saturday.
