Basketball Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Franklin Christian Academy lost to Franklin Road Academy back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons had to suffer through a 73-39 loss at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Panthers are ranked 64th).

Franklin Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Franklin Road Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Franklin Christian Academy will take on The Webb School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Road Academy, they will challenge St. Cecilia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
