Volleyball Recap: Denver Waldorf Triumphs

While Denver Waldorf's win against Vanguard Classical East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won by a set and slipped past the Hawks 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since October 24, 2024.

Annie Omeara paced Denver Waldorf's offense, picking up 13 kills. Omeara got some help from Lara Gregory and her 15 assists. Gregory was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The win got Denver Waldorf back to even at 8-8. As for Vanguard Classical East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Denver Waldorf has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Beth Eden Baptist on the 20th. As for Vanguard Classical East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Caliche on the 18th.
