Violet Smith was dialed in as she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against L'Anse Creuse North back in April of 2025, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with six or more strikeouts. For the season, Smith has an ERA of 3.58 over 57.2 innings pitched.
