If Lake View wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Andrews, they should've done a better job of containing JaeSean DeBouse. The Mustangs came out on top against the Chiefs/Maidens by a score of 36-28 on Friday with plenty of help from DeBouse, who rushed for 231 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries, and also caught one touchdown. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109 rushing yards per game.

Another player making a difference was Beau Hudson, who rushed for 127 yards and one score on only 12 carries. He has become a key player for Andrews: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-5 otherwise.

The win got Andrews back to even at 5-5. As for Lake View, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Andrews will take on Burnet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake View, they will challenge Lampasas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
