Basketball Recap: Imagine School at North Port Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

North Port came into Monday's match looking for another win against Imagine School at North Port, but Zahmir Jackson wouldn't allow it. The Imagine School at North Port Sharks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the North Port Bobcats 66-63 thanks in part to Jackson, who went 10 of 23 on his way to 29 points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen Taft, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

Imagine School at North Port is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for North Port, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Imagine School at North Port will challenge Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cardinal Mooney will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Imagine School at North Port surely won't give up without a fight.
