Basketball Recap: Brian Kizer Jr Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tuloso-Midway

After losing to Tuloso-Midway the last time they met, Rockport-Fulton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rockport-Fulton Pirates walked away with a 64-56 victory over the Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rockport-Fulton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brian Kizer Jr, who went 10 for 18 on his way to 22 points and six rebounds. Kizer Jr has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Roman Cox was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Rockport-Fulton's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Tuloso-Midway, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Rockport-Fulton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-37 loss against Sinton on the 10th. As for Tuloso-Midway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-59 victory against Ingleside on the 7th.
