Van Buren gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 65-28 victory over the Clarksville Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pointers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Looking ahead, Van Buren will face off against Mena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clarksville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ozark Catholic Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
