After a string of three wins, Raytown's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Platte County Pirates, falling 3-0. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Raytown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Platte County, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Raytown will take on Oak Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Platte County, they will face off against Seaman at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
