Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Takes a Loss

Lake Holcombe lost against Cadott back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lake Holcombe Chieftains fell 59-46 to the Cadott Hornets.

It was another big night for Taylor Hager, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 21 points along with seven steals and five boards for Cadott. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hager has scored at least a third of Cadott's points. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Hrdlicka, who posted eight points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.

Lake Holcombe has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Cadott, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13.

Lake Holcombe has already played their next contest (against Cornell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cadott, they are taking a road trip to take on Fall Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
