Volleyball Recap: Burley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Burley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Wood River Wolverines. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 1, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

Burley's record now sits at 5-13. As for Wood River, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Burley will take on rival Jerome at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wood River is set to challenge their familiar foe Minico at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
