Football Game Preview: Tom Bean Tomcats vs. Nocona Indians + How To Watch

The Tom Bean Tomcats will head out to challenge the Nocona Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tom Bean knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Nocona likes a good challenge.

Tom Bean will head out to face Nocona after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Tomcats fell 42-35 to Wolfe City. That's two games in a row now that the Tomcats have lost by exactly seven points.

Donnie Hooten put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (86 yards to be exact) went to Camden Stephens.

Meanwhile, Nocona owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They took down Trenton 18-0.

Tom Bean suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Nocona, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Tom Bean against Nocona when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tomcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
