While Tri-Valley's win against Minersville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Battlin' Miners 3-2. Tri-Valley haven't had any issues with Minersville recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Minersville, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
