Basketball Recap: Tri Starts Season with Victory Against Knightstown

Tri had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 53-39 win over the Knightstown Panthers on Wednesday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Tri got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lukus Frazier out in front who posted 12 points. What's more, Frazier also posted a 33% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jonah Cox, who earned 11 points.

Coming up, Tri will host Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Knightstown, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Waldron at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
