Soccer Game Preview: Brunswick vs. Scarborough

The Brunswick Dragons will take on the Scarborough Red Storm at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Brunswick is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Brunswick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Dragons who were credited with the victory.

Scarborough is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Falmouth, who was ranked eighth at the time (Scarborough was ranked third). The Red Storm had just enough and edged out the Navigators 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Scarborough have won by just one goal.

Brunswick's record now sits at 14-2-1. As for Scarborough, their record is now 16-0.

Brunswick came out on top in a nail-biter against Scarborough in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Storm turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
