Softball Recap: Winamac Comes Up Short

Winamac's tournament run continued when they took on McCutcheon on Saturday. The Warriors came up short against the Mavericks, falling 13-5.

Brody Goodman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Roth, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Winamac's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for McCutcheon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Coming up, Winamac will take on Maconaquah at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for McCutcheon, they will square off against Kankakee Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
