Doniphan-Trumbull not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Gibbon Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cardinals have beaten the Buffaloes the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Buffaloes has come to flipping the script.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up 15 kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her 19 assists. Rath was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Doniphan-Trumbull's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Gibbon, they are on a 23-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-28.

Doniphan-Trumbull wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hershey on the 28th. Gibbon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
