Softball Recap: Rustburg Red Devils vs. Brookville Bees
With a playoff win on the line, Rustburg rose to the challenge on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Brookville Bees, sneaking past 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Laila Bigham spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances.
