Volleyball Game Preview: Point Pleasant Big Blacks vs. South Charleston Black Eagles + How To Watch

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks are taking a road trip to take on the South Charleston Black Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Point Pleasant didn't have quite enough to beat Lincoln County and fell 2-1. The Big Blacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The 2-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Point Pleasant lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-23, 15-12.

Meanwhile, South Charleston didn't have quite enough to beat Capital on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Point Pleasant now has a losing record of 19-20-1. As for South Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-20-2.

Point Pleasant skirted past South Charleston 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Big Blacks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
