Ben Alvarez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out two batters over one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Ashbrook's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 4-10 when he doesn't).
