Basketball Recap: Liberty Union Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Liberty Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-49 win over the Circleville Tigers on Tuesday. The Lions pushed the score to 53-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Liberty Union has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Circleville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.

Liberty Union will venture away from home to square off against Fairfield Union at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Circleville, they will welcome Bloom-Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
