Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Memorial Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Wakefield Memorial's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Woburn Memorial Tanners as they made off with a 3-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Wakefield Memorial walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-21.

Wakefield Memorial can attribute much of their success to Brendia Diaz, who had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Diaz has posted since back in October of 2024.

Wakefield Memorial pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Woburn Memorial, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
