Softball Recap: Eastern Wayne Warriors vs. Princeton Bulldogs
Eastern Wayne fell victim to Princeton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Princeton Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Eastern Wayne was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Princeton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Eastern Wayne has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Princeton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
Eastern Wayne will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beddingfield at 6:30 p.m. on April 9th. As for Princeton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Goldsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
