Beachwood hadn't done well against Orange recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bison blew past the Lions 3-0. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Beachwood was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.

Kaylin Hilliard paced Beachwood's offense, picking up eight kills. Hilliard got some help from Casie B and her 17 assists. Miriam Aschkenasy controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Beachwood's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Orange, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beachwood will face off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange, they will challenge Harvey at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
