Soccer Recap: Parsippany Hills Comes Up Short

Parsippany Hills and Governor Livingston squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Parsippany Hills had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Parsippany Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Governor Livingston are ranked 31st).

Parsippany Hills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-1 record this season. As for Governor Livingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Parsippany Hills nor Governor Livingston have any future games scheduled.
