Softball Preview: Three Forks Wolves vs. Thompson Falls Blue Hawks
The Three Forks Wolves will take on the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Three Forks had already won five in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they went ahead and made it six last Tuesday. They beat the Maroons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-0.

Meanwhile, Thompson Falls had to kick off their season on the road last Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let Lincoln County onto the board and left with a 17-0 victory.
Olivia Fitchett was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Fitchett was also big at the plate, scoring two runs.
In other batting news, Sarah Koskela was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Addie Traver was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
