Baseball Recap: St. Mary Central Catholic Find Success

St. Mary Central Catholic won the last time they faced St. Joseph Central Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Crimson Streaks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

St. Mary Central Catholic got a great performance from Eli Dinsmore as he pitched five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave Dinsmore a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Sam Lawrence was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Gill, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

St. Mary Central Catholic's record now sits at 8-5. As for St. Joseph Central Catholic, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
