Basketball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll entered their game against Fort Wayne Wayne on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chargers took a 66-49 bruising from the Generals. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 61-46 to the Generals when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Carroll still got an impressive performance from Jack Van Order, who shot 58% from the field on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Brody Fisher, who went 5-for-11 en route to 16 points and six boards.

Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-30 win against Warsaw on the 20th. Fort Wayne Wayne and Mishawaka Marian will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on the 29th. The Knights have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
