The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions and the Fort Lupton Bluedevils will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Banning Lewis Academy picked up another tournament win on Friday. They blew past Grand Valley, posting a 79-14 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

Matthew Lebron went supernova, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 26 points and seven steals. The game was his seventh in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Muna, who posted nine points along with seven assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Fort Lupton was able to grind out a solid win over Roaring Fork on Friday, taking the game 72-65.

Fort Lupton has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Banning Lewis Academy, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.

Banning Lewis Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Fort Lupton in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 47-36. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Bluedevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
