Volleyball Game Preview: Rowan County Vikings vs. Boyd County Lions

Rowan County is 2-8 against Boyd County since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Vikings will take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Rowan County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, Rowan County got the win against East Carter by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Boyd County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Greenup County on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Boyd County's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Rowan County, their victory bumped their record up to 27-6.

Rowan County took their win against Boyd County when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
