Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hopewell-Loudon walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over the Western Reserve Roughriders. Considering the Chieftains have won eight contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hopewell-Loudon, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Western Reserve, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-3.

Coming up, Hopewell-Loudon will face off against Seneca East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Reserve does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
