Volleyball Recap: Wareham Comes Up Short

Wareham was the 3-2 winner over Holbrook when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Mackenzie O'Connor paced Wareham's offense, picking up 11 kills. O'Connor got some help from Olivia LaCava and her 20 assists. LaCava also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Johnny Tompkins, each putting up three.

Wareham's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Holbrook, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Wareham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Westport on the 3rd. As for Holbrook, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Atlantis on the 3rd.
