Baseball Recap: Sun Valley Comes Up Short

Sun Valley lost against Great Valley back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vanguards fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 4-3. The Vanguards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sun Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Graham, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Graham has brought in this season.

Sun Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Great Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sun Valley will challenge Interboro at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vanguards' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Great Valley, they will face off against Bayard Rustin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Knights will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
