Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Canterbury). They walked away with a 65-56 victory over the Bishop Verot Vikings on Thursday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 50-32 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Bishop Verot lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cameron O'Halloran, who posted 23 points and six rebounds. That was a full 41.1% of Bishop Verot's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Caroline Ward was another key player, putting up 20 points and six boards.

The victory made it two in a row for Canterbury and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Bishop Verot, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
