Volleyball Recap: Musselman Falls Short Against Ranked Cardinal Newman

Musselman is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Cardinal Newman. The Applemen fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. The Applemen's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Musselman's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Cardinal Newman, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 37-7.

Coincidentally, Musselman and Cardinal Newman will both be playing Porter-Gaud the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Cyclones at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Applemen will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
