Shaker came tearing into Thursday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks 68-28. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shaker to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sofia Lanni, who went 8 of 13 on her way to 16 points and three steals. Jayla Geter was another key player, going 5 for 11 en route to 14 points.

Shaker's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.6 points. As for Saratoga Springs, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shaker will head out to square off against Shenendehowa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shenendehowa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Shaker likes a good challenge. As for Saratoga Springs, they will venture away from home to challenge Academy of the Holy Names at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
