The Richmond Senior Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Overhills Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Overhills took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Richmond Senior, who comes in off a win.

Richmond Senior took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They skirted past Hoke County 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-98) Richmond Senior actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 9-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Overhills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Jack Britt.

Overhills wouldn't go down easily and took Jack Britt into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 17-25, 17-15.

Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Richmond Senior, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
